On May 9, HRS Principal Hydrologist Mark Palumbo presented the “Hydrogeology of Colorado” as part of the National Ground Water Association’s Hydrogeology of States series.  The one-hour presentation included an overview of our state’s major alluvial and bedrock aquifers and their physical properties, and discussed Colorado groundwater use and availability, groundwater quality and contamination, surface water/groundwater interactions, and current groundwater management issues.  You can view HRS’ “Hydrogeology of Colorado” presentation here (Access Passcode: &dY%14iP).
