‘Go west, young man…” HRS Opens Colorado West Slope Field Office in Grand Junction on April 1st, 2023
Colorado’s West Slope is a rugged, varied, and beautiful area that is blessed with the majority of the State’s surface water runoff, but is facing dramatically increasing water challenges. In response to our growing West Slope workload and our goal of providing effective and economical solutions to tough water rights, environmental, and groundwater problems, HRS is excited to announce the opening of our first ever field office in Grand Junction, Colorado. The new Grand Junction office opened 42 years to the day after HRS’ founding in 1981 and 190 years after Horace Greeley advised Josiah Grinnell to “Go west, young man”.
The West Slope field office establishes our West Slope “boots on the ground”. Boots that are ready to complete the onsite work needed for your water project with well-integrated support from HRS’ main office in Lakewood, Colorado (West Denver). The West Slope office will focus on field data collection, water rights, and water supply for cities from Durango to Rangeley and Moab to Glenwood Springs and Aspen.
