Senior Groundwater Modeler
HRS Water Consultants, Inc. is accepting resumes for a full-time Senior Groundwater Modeler who is passionate about solving water and environmental problems and has 7 to 15 years of professional consulting experience. We seek a seasoned Groundwater Modeler who has at least 7 years of experience designing, building, calibrating, and testing mathematical groundwater models using the USGS MODFLOW code. Candidates should also have experience calibrating groundwater models using the PEST code and experience modeling contaminant transport with MT3D. Candidates should have a BS in geology, hydrology, geological engineering, or other earth-science related field with a strong emphasis in quantitative analysis. A MS is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be comfortable working closely with and collaborating with others, and be able to efficiently deliver top-quality written reports documenting the groundwater modeling process. Education and experience in groundwater hydrology, chemistry, geochemistry, or environmental chemistry is a plus. Experience in project management, litigation support, developing site conceptual models, and using 3D visualization software is a plus.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 and may be negotiable depending on education, certifications, experience, and special skills. Other benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match. Also, HRS may offer end-of-year bonuses depending on the financial performance of the company.

Staff Hydrogeologist
HRS Water Consultants, Inc. is accepting resumes for a full-time entry level Hydrogeologist who is passionate about solving water and environmental problems and has 0 to 2 years of professional experience. We seek self-motivated candidates with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree (MS preferred) in geology, engineering, or earth science-related field who works well independently and on teams. Our Staff Hydrogeologists are enthusiastic about performing field work and can at times expect to spend a significant amount of time completing field work.
Experience with ArcGIS software is required. Experience in environmental science, database management, and mathematics will be beneficial. Experience in water rights and environmental consulting will be beneficial. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 depending on education, certifications, experience, and special skills. Project Manager
HRS Water Consultants, Inc. is accepting resumes for a Project Manager who is passionate about solving water supply, water rights and environmental problems and has 7 to 15 years of professional experience. We seek a client-focused, seasoned hydrogeologist who is well-versed in the consulting business cycle and can work with our team to deliver high-quality proposals, work plans, and technical reports. Other responsibilities include scoping, coordinating, and managing hydrogeologic field investigations; overseeing contractor activities including borehole drilling, coring, sampling, and geophysical investigations; and quantitative analysis of hydrogeologic and environmental data. Candidates should have a BS in an earth-science related field (MS preferred), excellent written and oral communication skills, experience in quantitative hydrogeologic analysis, and education and experience in chemistry and/or geochemistry. Experience in project management and litigation support is a plus. Must have a strong health and safety focus and desire to work with others in a collaborative manner.
The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Geologist (PG) license in at least one US state or be qualified for a PG by education and experience, or a Professional Engineering (PE) license – Water Resources and Environmental – in Colorado. Must have solid experience in technical consulting with a strong emphasis in collection and management of field data, data analysis, statistics, and mathematical analysis.
